Report an unwanted message or call
If you received a text or call from a FreeCallMe number that you did not want, you can stop it immediately and you can report it to us.
- To stop messages: reply STOP to the number that texted you. That blocks further messages from that number to you at the carrier level, and it works whether or not the sender cooperates.
- To find out who is contacting you: reply HELP to the number. You will get our identity and this support address back.
- To report abuse: email john@freecallme.com with the number that contacted you and roughly when. Accounts used to send unsolicited, bulk, or automated messages are terminated and their numbers reclaimed. We investigate every report.
Numbers rented through FreeCallMe are for personal, one-to-one conversations only. Marketing, bulk sending, and automated messaging are prohibited by our Terms of Use.
Emergency calls do not work
FreeCallMe cannot be used to call 911 or any other emergency service. It is an internet calling service, not a replacement for a phone line, and it does not transmit your location to emergency responders. Always keep a mobile or landline phone available for emergencies. See the Terms of Use for the full limitation.
Billing and calling credit
Calling credit is prepaid. You are charged only for calls that actually connect, at the per-minute rate shown before you dial. A call that rings out, goes to voicemail without being answered, or is rejected by the receiving carrier is not charged.
Your activity page lists every call, what happened to it, and what it cost. If something there looks wrong, email us with the date and the number dialed and we will look it up.
Calls that do not connect
Some carriers reject calls that originate on the internet, particularly to mobile numbers in certain countries. That is a decision made by the receiving carrier and is not something we can override. When it happens the call is marked as blocked in your activity and you are not charged for it.
Account and sign-in
If you cannot sign in, use the password reset link on the login page first. If the reset email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then email us from the address you signed up with so we can confirm it is you.
To delete your account and the data attached to it, email us from your account address and say so. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.
